Tatum Umiamaka
Aloha kākou, I'm Tatum Umiamaka. I graduated from the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa in 2025 with a B.S. in Astrophysics and a B.A. in Information & Computer Sciences. I'm now pursuing my Ph.D. at Caltech, advised by Dimitri Mawet in the Exoplanet Technology (ET) Lab. My research interests include high-contrast imaging techniques (vortex fiber nulling), giant exoplanets, adaptive optics, and scientific software.
